4. How Should I Get Around During the Woods Hole Film Festival?

Public transportation, carpooling or bicycle (ride the Shining Sea Bikepath from Falmouth to Woods Hole) is highly encouraged. Some spaces are available from the Palmer Ave. lot of the Steamship authority to park and ride their shuttle (note -you must pay for parking). In Falmouth, the WHOOSH trolley runs throughout the day. If you do drive into Woods Hole, metered spaces are available on the street and at the Steamship Authority. During the evening, additional paid parking is available in Woods Hole. Ticketholders may park in the School St. Lot of WHOI after 5 p.m. Please park only in the designated lot.

In an arrangement with the Steamship Authority, filmgoers can park in the Falmouth Steamship Authority parking lots and come into Woods Hole by bus. This will be especially useful on the weekends when there is little parking and in town and there are full days with early events such as the children's screening at 2 PM on Sunday, August 1 and the Technology Day events on Saturday, August 7 which start at 10 in the morning.
