WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED
Attendance at Events:
Attendance at Woods Hole
Film Festival events by filmmakers and their entourage is, of course, encouraged
and welcomed. To see some of the fun filmmakers have at the Festival,
check out this page: Fun
Tickets for films and
Events:
While all filmmakers from
each film are invited to attend, the Festival provides a limited amount
of complimentary perks for each film. A single full-access Filmmakers
pass is given to one representative of each film. An additional Festival
Passes may be purchased for 50% of its value. The film’s representative
receives three additional seating tickets for the Filmmaker's screening.
For others with principle credits in the film, there are many discounted
ticket and pass options are available. Prior to the Festival, the
Filmmaker should provide a list of those people they expect will need reserved
seating. Festival staff will reveiw the list as soon as it’s provided
and indicate the number of available seats based on venue and other variables.
A filmmaker's festival
package including festival pass, schedule of events, complimentary
screening tickets, Woods Hole info, sponsor promotions, etc. will
be provided to filmmakers upon their arrival. The schedule
of events and tickets will be available on-line prior to the festival.
One of the perks which helps build your and your film's visibility
is the filmmaker's brunch: usually help on on the first sunday of
the festival, the bunch is exclusively for the filmmakers to have
an opportunity to meet, network, discuss their films, and plan how
the week will work out.
If you are attending, please send a short bio and a digital picture
which can be used in the "Attending Filmmaker" sections
of the web and program. We can accept only two filmmakers for each
film. This helps elevate your visibilty for critics, filmmakers, and
audience while you are in town.
Panels, discussions, and
film promotion:
The Woods Hole Film Festival
provides time both before and after a screening for filmmakers to introduce
and answer questions regarding their work. Filmmakers who attend will be
asked to perform this function. Filmmakers may also be asked (but
not required) to attend or sit on panels, discussions, parties, press interviews,
or morning coffees.
Food and Lodging:
The Festival does not provide
food and lodging or travel, but we can provide accommodation information.

on these arrangements must be followed. To be eligible for no- or
